Runner Runner

Here’s the runner runner script. I will probably leave it up for the day. I can’t remember which stage of development this was. But you can compare it to the movie, for sure. LMK your thoughts.

And there’s an earlier draft, too.

  1. Thank you Brian. Just wondering why is the climate of screenwriting changing. The internet use to be busy with kinds of magazines and forums (an done deal is so bring now adays, nothing happens there) and blogs about screenwriting. What is going on. Why is the net and blogs not busy about screenwriting? It appears boring now. No one is really excited about screenwriting anymore. Just boring writers who write , write scripts. Is writing boring and only the words should make it exciting. And when are we going to see scripts from Shane Black. His DIE HARD script was exciting and made a great movie. Now people don’t write cool scripts. Is there a need ? All the great movies from Korea and Japan don’t have fancy Shane Black scripts style…. they are boring…and only the director can bring it to life.
